Our grade level is excited to implement a new positive behavior support program. Classroom Dojo is a fun program that rewards students for following our school wide expectations of being ready, respectful and responsible. Students will be given points throughout the day when the teacher catches them following our schoolwide rules. Students can also have points taken away if they are not following the schoolwide rules of being ready, respectful and responsible.
Parents who sign up for class Dojo can view their child’s points, can communicate with the teacher about praises or concerns for behavior and can view what is happening in the classroom throughout the year by viewing classroom stories. Behavior notes are only posted on your child’s individual page and will never be viewed by others.
On Fridays, a student is allowed to cash in their Dojo points for rewards. At the end of the marking period the student may participate in the end of the marking period celebration activity by receiving at least 25 Dojo points. At the beginning of each marking period your child’s Dojo points will start over
